Conversations with the Kansas Chamber focuses on issues and concerns important to the Kansas business community. The program’s question and answer format provides a great opportunity for Chamber Members and their guests to hear from business leaders, elected officials, candidates for public office and others.
Our conversation on June 6th will focus on what happened behind the scenes of the 2019 legislative session. Chamber VP of Government Affairs Eric Stafford will lead our conversation. Joining him are Patrick Vogelsberg, VP of Governmental Affairs at the Kansas Association of Realtors and the Chamber’s Sr. Government Affairs Director Kristi Brown. They will share what it really took to get bills important to the Kansas business community through the Kansas Legislature and to the Governor’s desk and why some bills didn’t make it through the process.
