Chamber Team

Emily Corby joined the Kansas Chamber team in 2013 and has worked in the administrative area for many years. She now oversees the operations of the chamber including billing, HR benefits and office management supervision. She also works in membership retention and maintains relationships with current members through appointment setting and other means of communication.

 

Prior to working for the Kansas Chamber, Emily enjoyed a lengthy career in non-profit childcare work, teaching preschool and working as an Early Childhood Wellness Specialist. She spent her college years at Washburn University competing and performing as an opera singer and earning a bachelor’s degree in music performance. She then worked for the university as a Records Specialist while she obtained a master’s degree in Liberal Studies where she advanced her education in areas such as American History, Science, Theater and English.

 

Emily was born in Emporia, Kansas but has lived in Topeka since she was eight years old. She and husband, Kent, have two daughters. Her family enjoys being outdoors, biking, camping and spends many of their weekends watching their oldest daughter play competitive soccer in Kansas City and their youngest daughter starting out in soccer and dance.
