Kriegshauser Moves to Speaker's Office

May 1, 2015

TOPEKA, KAN. (April 30, 2015) - Christie Kriegshauser, V.P. of Political Affairs at The Kansas Chamber, will transition back to the Speaker's office where she will serve as Chief of Staff for Speaker Ray Merrick. Kriegshauser previously served in this role for both Merrick and former House Speaker Mike O'Neal, who is now CEO of The Kansas Chamber.

"Christie's extensive relationships, and understanding of the legislative process and unique dynamics within the statehouse make her an effective advisor" said O'Neal. "She is a skilled strategist and communicator and I know firsthand the value she adds to the Speaker's office. While the Kansas Chamber will miss her, we look forward to continuing to work with her in the important role she is returning to."

In addition to previously serving as Chief of Staff for both Merrick and O'Neal, Kriegshauser worked for Ray Merrick when he was House Majority Leader and Lt. Governor Jeff Colyer when he served in the Kansas House.
