Kriegshauser Moves to Kansas Chamber of Commerce

Topeka (June 10, 2013) – Christie Kriegshauser, Chief of Staff for Kansas House Speaker Ray Merrick, is leaving effective June 17th to serve as Vice President of Political Affairs for the Kansas Chamber of Commerce.

"Christie has served the House caucus well in the Speaker’s office," said President and CEO, Mike O'Neal.  “She has a keen understanding of the political landscape in Kansas and has been crucial to the growth of the House caucus. I am excited to have her join the Chamber team where her knowledge and experience will be fully utilized to promote the political success of all Kansas pro-business legislators and develop the pro-business candidates of the future."

Kriegshauser has served as Chief of Staff and Communications Director for Mike O’Neal when he was Speaker, as well as working for Ray Merrick when he was House Majority Leader and Lt. Governor Jeff Colyer when he served in the House.

Christie is married to Ryan Kriegshauser, Director of Policy and Special Projects at the Kansas Securities Commission.
