Kansas Chamber announces Jessalyn Hollenbeck as Director of Communications

 

TOPEKA, KAN. — Jessalyn Hollenbeck has been announced as the new Director of Communications for the Kansas Chamber.

Previously, she served as the Director of the Kansas Chamber Education Foundation, where she played a key role in advancing the Leadership Kansas and Kansas Emerging Leaders programs. These initiatives focused on identifying and developing leaders across the state while encouraging their engagement in Kansas’s social, business, and political communities.

Alan Cobb, President and CEO of the Kansas Chamber, praised Hollenbeck’s dedication to the Kansas Chamber’s mission, her work ethic and her ability to simply get things done. “I am very pleased that Jessalyn agreed to take on additional responsibilities to help the Kansas Chamber and our members in making Kansas a desired destination to do business. She has always been a perfect fit for the Chamber and the increased responsibilities are perfect for the Kansas Chamber. Her skills continue to make a difference for promoting a competitive business climate in Kansas,” Cobb said.

In her new role, Hollenbeck will oversee the Chamber’s strategic communication efforts, including marketing strategies, and media outreach to support Kansas businesses.

Hollenbeck expressed her enthusiasm for the position, describing the Kansas Chamber as “dedicated, integrated and collaborative” and emphasizing her commitment to benefiting businesses of all sizes across the state.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Washburn University in Topeka. She lives in Topeka with her husband Shane and their son.
