TOPEKA, KAN. – Registration is now open for the primary election edition of Candidate Conversations with the Kansas Chamber on Thursday, June 9th at the Wichita Boathouse in Wichita.

_
“The Kansas Chamber works closely with elected leaders at all levels of government to help make Kansas more competitive and welcoming for businesses,” said Chamber President and CEO Alan Cobb. “The Chamber and its members look forward to hearing directly from their fellow Kansans who have thrown their hats into the ring for statewide public office and to learn more about their positions on issues and policies important to their operations.”
_
Started in 2018, the Chamber’s Conversations Series focuses on issues and concerns important to the Kansas business community. The program’s question and answer format provides a great opportunity for Chamber members and their guests to hear from business leaders, elected officials, candidates for public office, and others.

The evening will feature conversations with candidates for statewide office who have a competitive primary election.
_
Other statewide candidates will be invited to participate in the Q&A sessions as they become qualified for the primary election event.
_
Statewide and congressional district candidates not facing a competitive 2022 primary also will be invited to join the Chamber and its members for the evening.
_
The conversations event will start with a networking reception at 5:30 pm, followed by dinner and program. Business leaders can learn more about the event and register here.
